The Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated October 6, 2024, No. PD-158, directly addresses the overhaul of the system for assessing the skills and competencies of graduates from vocational education institutions. It also creates favorable conditions for the active involvement of employers' representatives in this process. The main directions for improving the vocational education system are clearly defined, with a focus on establishing a unified network of technical schools that train specialists at all levels of vocational education.

At the university, in line with the above decree, technical schools will begin their operations on January 1, 2025, focusing on training specialists with the necessary competencies for practical activities. Faculties are preparing future professionals who are ready for practical work and possess the specific competencies required for their professional duties.

This academic year, two fields of professional education – "Water Management and Melioration" and "Agricultural Mechanization" – will see graduates in these areas. Along with organizing students' future professional activities and teaching them various teaching methodologies, the primary issue today is how to apply modern educational methods in the training process. One such lesson, on "Methods of Teaching Special Subjects," focused on the theme "Methods of Preparing Students for Professional Activities." It was organized using collaborative learning technologies for fourth-year students in group 12.

COLLABORATIVE - Collaborative learning is an approach based on close interaction between students or between students and instructors. The process participants actively search for, discuss, and master information together, making this technology highly effective. Not only does it facilitate the development of these technologies, but it also provides opportunities for organizing creative activities. The lesson aimed to enhance the effectiveness of student participation in professional activity, directing them towards creative work and engaging all students in the process. It is well known that this approach will lead to better results in the future, as students apply these methods in their careers.
