The future of our female students
31.01.2025
“We must recognize that the family is the cornerstone of education, ensuring the continuity of generations, preserving our sacred traditions, and directly influencing the development of future generations into worthy individuals.”
On January 31, 2025, Chairwoman of the Women’s Advisory Council Z. Ismailova, university psychologist D. Yusupova, faculty advisors Z. Khafizova, F. Yunusova, E. Ganiboyeva, Z. Beknazarova, and educators from the student dormitory visited the dormitory to meet with married and pregnant students, engaging in heartfelt conversations to understand their situations.
It is well known that in our country, systematic work is being done to support the upbringing of girls, ensuring their health, and providing all-around support. Healthy and well-rounded generations are considered the continuers of the nation. As emphasized, thanks to the care of our esteemed President, special attention is being paid to the education and upbringing of young people in our country. Particularly, continuous mechanisms have been implemented to support women, teach them professions, ensure their employment, and assist them in finding their place in life.
I would like to present the current statistics of female students at our university. Currently, there are 1,350 female students at the university, 40 of whom are married, 60 are registered in the social protection register (Women’s Register, Iron Book), 50 have disabilities, 4 are orphans, 4 are recipients of the Presidential and other prestigious state scholarships, and 100 are active female students. About 50% of married female students are currently studying in the dormitory.
