Technikums
According to the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated September 6, 2019 No. PD-5812 "On additional measures for further improvement of vocational education system" and the order of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated June 30, 2020 No. 355. Pakhtaabad agricultural technikum in Andijan region, Beshkent agricultural technikumin Kashkadarya region, Kumkurgan agro-industrial technikum in Surkhandarya region) were created and they started working from a new 2020-2021 academic year.
In technikum, two-year programs are taught and professions are given in the chosen fields. In addition, graduates who successfully complete the 2-year program will be admitted to Higher Educational Institutions for the 2 courses due to the interviews.
From the 2021-2022 academic year, training of specialists in mechatronics and robotics will be launched.
In technikum, personnel will be trained in the following specialties.

Beshkent agricultural tachnikum of Kashkadarya region, Karshi district was opened in 1977 for training junior specialists in the field of agriculture of rural secondary vocational school №131.
In 1996 due to the the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers № 296 "On the introduction of entrepreneurship in rural areas" 16 secondary vocational schools were transformed into Beshkent vocational lyceum.
From 2002 according to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan № 338 dated 2001 "On measures for further development of material and technical base of academic lyceums and vocational colleges" and Order of the Center of Secondary Specialized and Professional Education № 327 from November 30, 2002 and due to Order of Kashkadarya region government Secondary Specialized and Professional Education Department dated December 5, 2002, the status of Beshkent agricultural vocational/technical school of Karshi region was assigned.
Due to the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 6, 2019 PD № -5812 "On additional measures for further improvement of vocational education system", Beshkent agricultural vocational school of Kashkadarya region, Karshi district was founded as Beshkent agricultural vocational college (technical school) under Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers.
At present time the capacity of Beshkent agricultural vocational college under Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers is 720 places, 3-storied main building consists of the 1st and 2nd educational buildings, an internship workshop, parking and administrative offices and for students dormitory designed for 200 places.
The total area of the land plot is 9.4 hectares.
According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers № -296, the name Pakhtaabad vocational lyceum had been given since 1995.
Due to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers №- 406 dated September 23, 1998, the Lyceum had been transformed into Pakhtaabad Agricultural Professional College since September 2, 2000.
Accordingly the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated September 6, 2019 № PD-5812 "On additional measures to further improvement the professional education system.", Agricultural Professional College of the Pakhtaabad district, Andijan region was transformed into Pakhtaabad Agricultural College under Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers.
At present time the capacity of Pakhtaabad Agricultural technikum of Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers is 720 places, consists of 4-storied 1-2 educational buildings, parking for practicing and administrative departments as well.
The total area of the land plot is 7.8 hectares. Besides that, there is a residential building with 8-apartments and an educational experimental farm with an area of 1 hectare (fenced). As of September 2020, passenger cars are in need of repairs and most trucks are unusable.
