Sustainability Committee
Vision
To
position TIIAME as a regional leader in sustainable development by integrating
the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into all facets of
university life, including education, research, operations, and community
engagement.
Mission
The
Sustainability Committee is dedicated to:

Developing and implementing strategies that promote environmental stewardship,
social responsibility, and economic viability.
•
Monitoring and reporting on the university's sustainability performance.
•
Fostering a culture of sustainability among students, faculty, and staff.
• Collaborating with local and international partners to advance sustainable practices.
Objectives
•
Policy Development: Formulate and recommend policies that support sustainable
practices across campus.
•
Education and Research: Integrate sustainability into curricula and promote
interdisciplinary research on sustainability challenges.
•
Campus Operations: Enhance energy efficiency, waste management, and sustainable
transportation on campus.
•
Community Engagement: Organize events and programs that raise awareness and
encourage sustainable behaviors within and beyond the university community.

Performance Tracking: Establish metrics and regularly assess progress towards
sustainability goals.
