Uzbek Delegation gained the experience from Finland

 

 

 

 

 

 

The delegation of professors and teachers from “ National Research University”  Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers in the framework of the new master's program under the project "Sustainable development of bio economy in Uzbekistan" of European Union Erasmus + BioEcUz project at University of Applied Sciences in Jyväskylä. Project coordinator from University  briefly presented the program envisaged in the project to the audience. Mr. Hannu Koponen, Member of the Regional Council of Central Finland, Development Manager, gave information about the role of energy consumption, renewable energy sources and green economy in Northern Finland. After that, Vesa Saarikoski, Rector of briefly told about the university, by mentioning that there are 4 international campuses, the number of employees is 900 people, 8500 bachelors and masters are currently studying. 400 professors are trained annually, the annual financial income is 65.5 million euros.  The laboratory building is equipped with 20 large concrete mixing robots, 23D printers for metals, 4 3D printers for the production of plastic products. In addition, the laboratory has equipment for testing products of various heavy manufacturing enterprises and issuing certificates to them on the basis of a contract. If students would like to make a 3D metal model for themselves, they will be provided with free raw materials. As part of this program, the activities of many research institutes in Finland were presented and many enterprises were visited. At the end of the visit, a meeting with teachers took place. Each teacher exchanged views with colleagues on subjects of the specialty of the Master of Bioeconomics.
