Ilhom Abdurahmanov, the assistant teacher of the Department of Geodesy and Geoinformatics of "TIIAME" NRU, visited the Hungarian Budapest University of Technology and Economics on July 1. During his business trip to Hungary, he met with Professor Sabolch Roza, Dean of the Civil Engineering Faculty of this university, Professor László Gergely Vig, the responsible employee of the faculty for international programs, and Professor Lorant Foldvary of the Department of Geodesy and Geoinformatics.

In addition, they discussed the establishment of a bilateral joint master's program in Geodesy and Geoinformatics from the 2022-2023 academic year, the conclusion and signing of a mutual agreement, its structural and financial issues, the existing fund, and the use of scholarship programs, as well as the application of this experience to the specialty of Hydraulics and Water Resources Management from the 2023-2024 academic year.

A small tour for the university was organized in the company of Professor Lorant Foldvary of the Department of Geodesy and Geoinformatics, in which he got acquainted with the history, buildings, and structure of the university, lecture halls, library and museum, laboratories, including Geodesy and Hydraulics and water resources management laboratories, also he received information about the winners of the Nobel Prize and the international sports Olympiad at the university. In addition, he met Ph.D. researchers conducting scientific work in the field of hydraulics and water resources management, got acquainted with their scientific work, and agreed to cooperate in this direction in the future.

At the end of the meeting, Ilhom Abdurahmanov presented souvenirs to the representatives of partner universities.
