On February 2, 2023, on the occasion of the 582nd anniversary of the birth of Nizamiddin Mir Alisher Navoi, an evening called "Immortal Gazals" was held in classroom 207 block "B". The Dean of the Faculty of Organization and management of water resources R. Khakimov, Deputy Dean Zh. Turdiev, tutors of the faculty and students of 103a, 104, 108, and 113 groups attended the event. The dean of the faculty R. Khakimov delivered an introductory speech.

He urged students to constantly read books, noting that a person who reads books becomes an example for those around him with his worldview, culture of speech, and behavior. The great poet made a significant contribution to the preservation of the Turkic languages and the unification of the Turkic peoples. Navoi wrote his works in the Turkic language and sought to ensure that this language became literary. He devoted his life to raising the status of the Turkish language, recognizing the world of possibilities of Turkic literature, and defining the criteria for justice in society.
